We pride ourselves in our large whiskey collection at The 51 (we have over 60 different Irish whiskeys alone) and are always looking to find new whiskeys to add to our collection.

Our newest addition to our collection is the Gentleman Jack, the premium version of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee whiskey and is described as a rare Tennessee whiskey. Gentleman Jack is twice filtered through charcoal, as opposed to a single filtering for normal Jack Daniel’s which results in a smoother taste more suitable for drinking neat. It is slow-dripped through hard packed sugar maple charcoal before ageing in new American white oak casks. After the ageing process, Gentleman Jack repeats this “mellowing” process a second time to produce a softer, mellower whiskey. It is the only whiskey in the world that is charcoal mellowed twice, giving it the ultimate smoothness.

Gentleman Jack is full-bodied with fruit and spices and its finish is silky, warm and pleasant. So if you like your whiskeys neat, do give Gentleman Jack a go next time you are in with us!
